THE STORY
Most weeks, I’m on the road speaking in schools across the country.
But Fridays, I come home to McKinney.
And it got me thinking about what it means to pour into the place you call home.
Growing up, Sunday was the day that filled you up before the week ahead. It was a warm gathering and people who reminded you that you weren’t walking into the week alone.
I wanted to bring a little of that spirit to the schools in my own backyard.
That’s Soul School Fridays.
The same passion, soul, stories, and student-centered programs I bring across the country.
Just local and with a lil’ extra soul for our DFW community.

Who is Soul School Friday For?
DFW area PTAs, counselors, and admin who want to bring a meaningful, high impact student centered experience I bring to schools across the country — right here in our own backyard.
Available Fridays, September through November.
Spots are limited.

This rate is specifically for schools booking on Fridays between September and November.
If you'd like to bring Rashad to your school outside of a Friday, you can submit an inquiry for his regular speaking rates.

Every school will receive a short School Culture Questionnaire for the admin to fill out before the visit.
This gives Rashad a better understanding of your students, your school culture, and what your team is currently
working toward so he can tailor the stories, message, and activities to your campus. -
Before the visit, teachers and students can complete a short LRC Culture Snapshot.
Just 5 questions.
The Snapshot looks at leadership, resilience, compassion, belonging, and student advocacy to help
identify where students are thriving and where there may be opportunities to grow.The results help shape the conversation during the assembly/small group and can give your team a clearer picture of your school culture.
Schools can also use the Snapshot before and after the experience to track growth and see
where students are developing over time.
This gives your staff and district meaningful data they can use when evaluating student growth and future programming. -
A small group experience for 10–15 influential student leaders.
Think of an intimate dinner with rich, meaningful leadership conversations.
Rashad works with students to build practical leadership skills, think about the culture they want to create at their school,
and identify ways they can use their influence to make an impact.Already have a leadership group or student leadership initiative? Great. The Leadership Lab can come
alongside what you're already building and enhance it rather than replace it.Your students are full of creative, impactful ideas. Let them shine.

The World Changer Project is an optional way for students to put their leadership into action after the Leadership Lab.
Students identify something they care about and create a simple project to make a difference in their school or community.
It could be:
A project led by the Leadership Lab students
A project each classroom or grade level takes on
Or a schoolwide initiative everyone contributes to
The goal isn't to create another program for your staff to manage.
It's to give students the space to take an idea and do something with it.

What If Your Students Became the Changemakers?
My mom planted a seed in me early.
I would ask, “Ma, can I really do whatever I put my mind to?”
Her answer was always simple: “If you work hard and believe, yes, son.”
That belief changed the way I saw myself.
When I came home, I knew I had to give students that same belief.
So I created the World Changer Project and began giving students space to dream, think bigger, and turn their ideas into action.
That belief took me 1,300 miles from home to South Carolina State University.
There, I became president of the Call Me MISTER teaching program, started a boys mentoring program, and organized the first 5K Childhood Cancer Awareness Walk.
I wasn't just learning. I was learning that I could create.
And then something happened that I didn't expect.
A school took the idea and made it their own.
With support from their teachers and administration, students created kindness projects throughout their school.
That's the power of giving students a little belief, a little direction, and a chance to lead.
After college, I wanted to understand people beyond what I had been taught.
So I raised over $18,000 and backpacked across four continents and 14 countries, listening to people, learning from cultures, and seeing the world differently.
The more I saw, the more I believed:
We really can make an impact.
Students don't lack ideas.
Sometimes they just lack space to use what they already know.
We give students so much knowledge.
What if we gave them more opportunities to practice leadership, solve real problems, and make their school and community better?
What Could Your Students Create?
The story above shows what can happen when students are given the space, support, and belief to lead.
Through the Leadership Lab, 10–15 student leaders go deeper after the assembly to unpack the message, identify a need within their school, and ask, “What can we do about it?”
From there, your students can create a World Changer Project of their own. It could be led by the Leadership Lab, a classroom, or even grow into a schoolwide effort.
The idea doesn't have to be big.
It just has to be theirs.
