Kindness & Compassion Campaigns
World Kindness Day · Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week · Random Acts of Kindness Week
Why Compassion Matters to me.
A few years ago, I spent an entire year backpacking across 14 countries and 4 continents. I lived out of a backpack, slept in tents, got food poisoning, and even endured racism in some places. But above all, I realized one simple truth:
Humanity longs for connection and love — and the way we find it is through kindness and service.
That’s why I love partnering with schools during Kindness and Compassion Campaigns. These weeks give us the chance to not just talk about kindness but to actually live it out together. 💙
Igniting Kindness.
-
Story-driven session that shows how kindness and service change lives.
Helps students see that even the smallest act can ripple across their school and community.
-
Digging deeper: What does kindness look like in the classroom, at home, and in our community?
Students brainstorm and commit to one tangible act of service.
-
I guide students and staff in creating a project (food drive, hygiene kits, thank-you campaign, etc.).
Pictures and stories from past schools show how students turned inspiration into real impact. (see below)

Is your school creating a safe environment?
“Bullying can result in physical injury, social and emotional distress, self-harm, and even death. It also increases the risk for depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, lower academic achievement, and dropping out of school.” (Centers for Disease Control and Prevent, 2025)
Rashad also offers small group settings where students share their experiences around bullying and administrators are invited to listen, creating powerful opportunities for understanding and action.
